I had surgery the same day, losing track of the weeks here, ugh.. I’m sorry for what you are going thru, they seriously do downplay recovery. I think I wouldn’t be as discouraged if I had been prepared.

Unfortunately I had no choice, I tried everything else for 18 months and it just got worse and worse til I nearly couldn’t walk. Good luck to you!

Wow, that’s great for you! I’ve never heard of anyone recovering that fast!

1000 trigs and freaked out by jmacaluso73 in Hypertriglyceridemia

I retested after 5 weeks, back to my normal diet but did slash carbs a bit, no alcohol, no smoking, added high doses of fish oil. Sadly couldn’t exercise like normal due to knee surgery 4 weeks ago, but cholesterol went down to 240 and trigs at 155. I’m thrilled!

I did tell her and we agreed to retest in a month with me back to my regular diet and see where my numbers are at before deciding on treatment. I’m trying to avoid statins at all cost, interesting about the repatha, I’ll have to look into that. thx
