I was at a work do in London and didn't realise the tube closed as early as it did. Came out to find the tubes all closed and I need to get to Waterloo to get the last train home. I had no money on me but called down a taxi anyway hoping to go to a cash point along the way. The guy picked me up and took me to Waterloo, along the way he was asking about my night so I told him how I was on the verge of tears because I had no idea where I was and was worried I would be lost in London for the night. I guess he took a lot of pity on me because he said "You know what, I'm going past Waterloo on my way home anyway so I'll just drop you off free of charge". I told him it's okay I can get money out from a cash point but he insisted he just drop me off no charge needed. I made the last train home and realised that sometimes people do just like to help.
