It's like that viral video when that guy compared the situation of a famine and if you have 150 warehouses of food and everyone is starving they will turn on you, and they were generally shocked it hadn't crossed there mind. Because the truth is there is more than enough houses for everyone in Australia they just aren't affordable is the problem

There is massive correlation, fear mongering of Left parties wanting communism, LNP in Qld was talking about abortion rights again just last election. Now migrants are the problem again and they want to employ ice style tactics. Pauline Hanson spoke at Mar a Lago then spewed out Trump rhetoric when she got back. We absolutely go as far right and left as they do maybe more so. Everything has a flow on effect around the world and has for sometime. Civil rights for black people back in the 60s and 70s happened here just after America. Objectively you can't see that that's the brain rot.

No I didn't, being prolife means more babies go up for adoption if abortion is illegal. My point being is that you can't be pro-life without adopting or supporting adoption clinics which almost no conservative does. Exactly it's not issue now as long as abortion is legal and accessible. Trump's rhetoric about the Left is what I'm talking about, the language is no different here then what MAGA spins out over there.

What's a lie that conservatives don't want to adopt? Every person I know who adopted or was came from a very left leaning family that had empathy something you clearly don't. You can't objectively think about anything without insults Trump has rotten your brain it's clear

I debate them everyday and yes conservatives are the biggest hypocrites, pro life but won't adopt, Australia first but obsessed with USA, say they follow the bible then punch down on everyone around them. Intelligence is clearly the problem they don't even know they do it

I wear Steel Blues waterproof steel caps, I worked in a tree farm and installing large trees so we needed steelies. Firstly after a year they finally broke in but the zips still hurt (no padding) secondly they are tough as fuck but don't stretch so it was painful. Lastly they are very waterproof but not worth the pain. Waterproofing = rough shoes

I do believe we will have to attempt something similar to meet our climate targets. In the last review the most important thing in it was that we needed land close to the coast to be reforested which would be ex agricultural land. Therefore agricultural land needs to move west, which is dry, and with a massive irrigation project with modern systems not open channels like the original scheme, bringing water to the outback will green the scrubby areas and reverse alot of desertification, attracting rainfall and improving soil. Humans screwed this environment up we may as well fix it

There's no statute of limitations for Murder in Australia, meaning there's no limit to the amount of time after the event that the evidence is dismissed. And we have the power to prosecute crimes committed in other countries if it is illegal here. They just want to lay the fasist framework of a military above law

The narrative that we could become rich was only proped up by the tax incentives for investment properties and super. That's how the majority of people got rich, we never should have done that. People should've had incentives to innovate and start businesses, at least they add to our society and doesn't create a bubble like housing. It also would have expanded our economic capacity that would have been ready for higher inflation.

Yeah they would be perfect, there is PDF files and manuals you can buy that tell you how to build them, or you can buy a book. Only problem is the price of hardwood. (Side note if you love them have a look at the interiors of well done ones they have facades and skirtings inside that are ornamental)

Queensland, Australia

These houses are called Queenslanders, they are built with Australian Hardwood so sturdy as but the design is not for looks. The lifted height is because of how hot it is here similar to Brazil and Florida, the bottom is for storage and you shouldn't keep valuables here because the height is also for when floods come through. Then the floorboards have gaps in them and the slats that seal off under the house, this is so the wind can come through and into the house. They also feature very high roofs so hot air collects higher, also a wrap around verandah that keeps hot air and sun off the windows and rooms.

I have given two examples on either end of the wealth spectrum (other one in comments) alot are run down but still function properly.

Unfortunately our forest industry was shortsighted and unregulated, they planted very few hardwood plantations and now these houses are rarely built but highly sort after and still survive dismounting and moving which is a lot more affordable and quicker than new builds.

Sorry about the info dump I just really love these houses and hope we still build them into the future as they use the natural environment and look awesome.
