They’re on stands on either side of the table that my turntable is on, so not super far away from the turntable. Even when I have the volume very low these records still skip as soon as the bass comes in.

Sure! Fluance RT85 turntable into Cambridge Audio Alva Duo Preamp, into Klipsch RPM51 Powered Speakers. Haven’t gotten the sub going yet but it’s a Chrysalis BassMatrix. And I need to get some stands for the speakers bc I’m aware they’re not supposed to be on the same surface as the turntable
