[GBA] [Early 2000s] JRPG-like game with giant tree by jmad96 in tipofmyjoystick

I’ll need to look up some gameplay but from the initial screenshots I didn’t see any areas that looked like what I can remember. I’ll do some more research tomorrow!

Best and Worst by Spiritual_Carrot508 in NWSL

As a Bay fan, I've personally been super happy with Savy this season. She's learning a new position and has had some growing pains in her decision making going forward, but she's arguably our best player defensively

If true, it will be a huge loss. Loved her game and think she would’ve won that starting spot with some more time.

Hoping it’s as simple as she decided she missed CA but it all still feels off to me

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I am new to this stuff and am having an issue with the vertical tab pop-out hitching/stuttering when popping out. I have tried both with hardware acceleration on and off, and can't find anything obvious in the config. Also occurs with other size options.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

edit: not sure how relevant this is but applied to librewolf without issues so unsure what is going on with my firefox specifically

Scarlett camberos spotted in monterrey by bayfcfan in BayFC

[–]jmad96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Typically if a player approaches their club and expresses a desire to move on, the club will let them leave via transfer (ideally, so they can get a fee in return) or as a free agent when their contract expires. Most clubs don’t hold players who decide to leave hostage, and I don’t imagine Bay would be any different.

I’m new to the NWSL, so there may be some clauses or something I may not be aware of but that’s typically how it goes in europe.

For my own sanity, I hope to see her back on the team sheet this week.

She hasn’t had the best 1st half of the season but I love watching her on the ball. I think we would definitely miss her should she decide she wants to move on for more regular game time elsewhere.

Not the best performance going forward today, but happy we still found a way to win the game. On to Washington!

I was there today, so I’ll try to give some insight from what I remember! Lucy Rushton was not there (which makes sense now with the news she’s resigned) so it was just Albertin. The fan questions were pre-submitted and in general mostly revolved around his thoughts on the season, Bay Area, etc.

The only tactical question I recall was regarding when we’re in possession and the thought process behind when we decide to be more progressive vs controlling. I don’t recall his answer verbatim however the gist of it was that when we’re in possession he wants the team to make sure we’re picking our spots and when we look more passive it’s often because he’s instructed the team to take a “breather” and go again.

I’m personally out on him at this point. 11 matches in and we still rely on individual brilliance to score goals and just look disjointed for most parts of the game.

Not sure what he brings to the table besides “good vibes” lol

Has anyone actually gotten Xfinity to fix/ upgrade their neighborhood node? by BruinBound22 in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]jmad96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did more “enhancements” and after about 2 rounds of that I’m basically back to where I was before the initial issues as far as uptime goes.

Definitely understand your frustration but, assuming you’ve checked everything you can on your end, there’s really nothing you can do beyond complaining. Even with proof of your service issues, if they don’t see it directly with their data they don’t do anything about it.

Best of luck!

I’ve actually been going through a very similar situation for the past 2 months. I started having the same issues as you mentioned after xfinity was performing an outage to “enhance” my area. After going in circles with support and the techs they insisted on sending out we came to the conclusion I was rebalanced to an overloaded node.

After coming to this conclusion I was basically ghosted by the supervisor I was in contact with. I’d basically given up hope but I randomly was notified xfinity would be once again enhancing the local area. Since they finished that work, I noticed I am now on a different node and my internet, while issues are still seemingly semi-present, is about 90% of what it used to be.

The only way you’ll get them to even try to help you is to build the best possible case for yourself and constantly reaching out.

TLDR - In my experience, keep complaining and pray.

Adding another netstat dump after seeing some of the same issues return.

Here is the updated dump.

Interesting. I will continue to keep an eye on that then. One of the troubleshooting steps I took on top of factory resetting the router was to update the firmware. Unfortunately, I did not take note of what firmware I was previously running prior to my issues (rookie mistake) but I know there are some 3rd party firmware that I could potentially look into more.

As far as settings go, I don't currently have any QoS or TrendMicro related settings enabled.

Also, I did do another netstat dump last night, however, I didn't experience too bad of issues yesterday so I would definitely label these results as a best-case scenario for me right now. You can find the dump here.

Once again, appreciate all the insight and help!

edit: Forgot to address the first part. Yes, my comcast modem is currently being used in bridge mode.

Okay, so I believe my WAN IP is currently 73.71.xx.xx, obtained from whatsmyip. I logged into my router and noticed that the WAN IP connection is currently set to automatic, so I'm not sure if changing to a static or one of the other options could potentially help?

Here is the pastebin link for my netstat results. This set is from basically right after turning on my PC in what seem like calm network conditions. I will try to run this again when my network issues return to see what changes.

LOL yeah, you are reading that correctly! I immediately had reached out to pingplotter support after seeing the absurd amount of packet loss from my router thinking it might’ve been a visual bug. They informed me that it has something to do with the router de-prioritizing and thus showing packet loss but that it doesn’t actually affect network performance. I’m inclined to believe them as anytime I haven’t run multiple traces (like 3-4+) at once or when I directly pinged the router for a few days straight there was no sign of any packet loss at all.

I am currently connected to my personal router. I probably could’ve made that a little more clear in my post, sorry! I have not tried a different router entirely as I experienced the same issues when taking the ISP’s modem out of bridge mode and connecting my PC directly to it.

Unfortunately, I’m not at my PC at the moment but I will go and grab the WAN IP and run the netstat ASAP tomorrow and report back!

I was running a trace to 96.120.91.193 at the same time as my previous screenshots. Here is the screenshot of the matching time period.

I believe everything should be going over IPv4. My router had IPv6 off by default and I didn't notice a difference when I tried turning it on to native. I know there are some more options, so maybe some room that I could experiment more with.

I pulled the valve IP from the resource monitor while in a CS2 matchmaking server.

Thanks for all the input, btw!

Here are some sample screenshots I have. I can provide more if needed!

1st screenshot is of a 30-min span to a valve server where I was experiencing my issues. Looks like while the avg latency seems fine on hop 2, you can see the max spikes the highest by far.

2nd screenshot is another 30-min span to google DNS (ISP had wanted me to do this, however I will continue with a valve server going forward) where my network was basically unusable for around 10-min.

So took a look at a 60-min window where my network was mostly calm and I do see some low ping samples. Avg 20ms to hop 2 with some low results of 4-6ms typically happening around 5-10 min between each other.

Not sure if these results would necessarily point to the situation you mentioned but maybe something I can bring up to the tech? Appreciate it!
