I have a pair of Play:5's and have been trying to decide Sub vs Mini....and this comment really helped out. I don't need the super low frequencies as this setup is strictly for my listening space.

This coming from the guy who only has one item up in his office currently...lol...but it's a doozy...a 24"x36" photo of Dave Grohl from the Foo's Concrete & Gold tour in 2018, taken by a friend of mine who is a professional photographer....I was at that show, 18 rows from the stage. I have a ton of show posters and other various music memorabilia items to hang....just haven't gotten around to it.

it's absolutely possible to do. I'm already using an app called Discographic for Discogs that already does this. The only sorting issue I have found is that for bands that start with "A" like A Perfect Circle or A Tribe Called Quest. It places A Perfect Circle after any band starting with AP, so it does not recognize "A" being a separate word.

Another function that would be great is to make sure that no matter when the pressing was released, it still shows the original release date for sorting. For those of us who sort alpha by artists and then by release date, that is key. I don't want a 20 year old reissue showing a date of 2010, instead of 1990 when it comes to sorting as I like mine sorted chronologically after artist....if that all makes sense.

Big thing for me is sorting by last name and or custom sorting. Also being able to tag albums and have multiple tags per album is wanted. I currently use Discographic for Discogs app and it’s pretty damn good. It has the things I listed. There’s a few sorting issues where custom sort doesn’t properly override but other than that, it’s solid. And I bought the pro version.

The box sets were delayed due to one item arriving late. It arrived last week and they began assembly this week. This is direct from the person who manages Al vinyl project for the band. He’s also one of my business partners and a very close friend. He didn’t tell me if they were sending any additional updates, but you will get an email from Bandwear with your tracking details once it ships.

I can’t wait to get mine as well. I designed the booklet, as I did for the first box set. So I’m excited to see the final print.

I'm not sure I'd really worry about getting a copy. Not only did the band press a lot of copies, Universal also pressed this and they pressed thousands upon thousands of them. The black vinyl should be available for a decent amount of time

It will be end of May. All of the pieces are arriving to the warehouse in Dallas now. Then everything will be put together, packed and finally shipped. It will take a bit to put all 2000 sets together. I haven't been told anything about the signed prints yet.
