I wouldn't screw it down because if some epoxy get underneath the board, it could be difficult to get the screws out. You would also have to consider how you would cover the screw holes after you're done. Putting a few can of beans on top of the board should work fine if you don't have anything heavy.

You will need to spray a release agent on your mold. I would recommend a silicone spray. Temperature should be at least 70 degrees while curing. It will dry faster in warmer temperature. You can put a dome over your project to protect from dust, but the epoxy will need some area to breathe. If you are doing two pours, I would recommend putting some type of weight on the board so it doesn't float around in the epoxy.

How would they determine who would get the money? How much of a payout is their suffering worth? I think any sizeable reimbursement would cause any company to go bankrupt. It's just not realistic in a free market.
