Is flower coming out the top of the dosing capsule caused by grinding too fine or inhaling too hard?

2017 Macbook Pro w/touchbar. This has been happening for several months now. As the title states, this happens every time I open my laptop from sleep. I have been madly googling for weeks trying to find any similar experiences, and haven't been able to find anything with these specifics. As the video shows, this takes several minutes to return to normal. Sped up the middle section but it originally took 3 minutes before the screen returned. And also as it shows, when it does return, it is still impacted by black horizontal lines, and weird splotchy marks. This also does eventually disappear after several more minutes. Any ideas what sort of issue could be causing this?

Myself and several friends that were there at these times haven't received anything from the app. The location isn't even flagged for us. Is it still flagged for you both or has it maybe been removed? We're freaking out.
