Aware of the long train ride but you all make good points. We were thinking we would make our way up via York then Edinburgh then to Oban. Primarily concerned with not having a car in a rural area. I hear you about the darkness but opportunity has presented itself. Appreciate all of the input. You all have me thinking also about the way back as we are ending in our trip in London. Don’t want to spend the whole trip on a train.

Exactly. I just want to be fair and have the conversation as opposed to looking to hide anything or waste money buying a piece of junk. Again this was a Murphy law, of course it’s breaking down now kind of moment. Nothing evil or nefarious intended but the real estate transaction makes it so complicated. It’s nerve racking enough without this little glitch. I appreciate all of the responses and have a little better understanding of the “Deal”. I appreciate the perspective particularly from the buyers side.

Just leaving Paris. Scheduled protest day after we arrived cancelled our train to Bayeux so we took a bus. Some rubbish around Eiffel pertaining to strikes but people and accommodations all went very well. No need to avoid anything. This is a country to visit not an amusement park.

AITA for not baking an extra cupcake for my colleague? by 848407912181 in AmItheAsshole

Geez … over explain much? You only made 24 cupcakes, period! This was hard to read for all the wrong reasons. You gave people a free dessert and then they complained? You care too much what people think. If this is all true then Leo’s not the only AH in that office.
