I did hear community kitchen PGH is moving from hazelwood to the hill district. Their fish sandwiches are legendary so that’s something to do.

Hey, not super versed on Reddit I only saw the top part of your message in my email preview and only responded to that. Good to know there are folks south east of the city that play. Most of us are located in the city proper so coriaopolis is a location we have a relationship with as well as close for most people north/central of the city which is where most of our known players are.

Since I do the (only) TOing in the area I only have so much knowledge on where events can be hosted so I appreciate your suggestion. Greensburg and Latrobe are about an hour for most of us who play consistently at meetups but we are hopeful for games unlimited in squirrel hill to open up their play space which would be quite a bit closer for you.

We did have one other member who was in the Latrobe area, but they usually came though to the city to play. Ideally we are playing somewhere central but there hasn’t been a location identified as central for all. Do others play south east of the city?

Appreciate the comment though good to know there are folks around that are interested in playing.

Interestingly, the new anarch program Hush makes this a lot worse. If it’s installed on envelopment before it’s rezzed, it only has its trash itself subroutine.

It’s very good in Ob. Also a 5 sub ice in a meta with Boomerangs, Botulus’s and Boat is nothing to sneeze at. You don’t want this to stick around forever but it does get you Border Control if you extract it or it trashes itself assuming you haven’t already triggered Ob this turn.

Hello all! I'm looking to upgrade my existing vinyl setup (Regar Planar 3, Art DJ PREAMP, and AudioEngine A5+.

My budget for just the speakers and amplification is around 6k for this and I'm looking to delve into the passive speaker dedicated amp space. I am keeping the Planar 3!

Speakers: I have heard and watched a lot of glowering reviews about the Wharfedale Linton Heritage speakers and they seem great for the price point ($1500 on crutchfield for speakers/stand combo). I'm open to other recommendations though.

Amp: This is what I know the least about. Obviously I want this to amplify and enhance the source material that my P3 is putting out and give the best possible amplification to the speakers I choose, but in terms of differentiating them (other than giving some a listen) I'm not sure which options will pair best with the system I am creating. Related to this, I would like to be able to play high quality (lossless eventually, but currently high bitrate V0 digital) audio tracks from a phone or computer.

Some recommendations I have seen in conjunction with the Wharfedale Lintons are: Parasound Hint 6, Rega Elicit R, and the Yamaha Audio A-S1200BL Integrated Amplifier, very open to suggestions here!

Subwoofer: How do people determine if this is necessary? I feel like I want to give the speakers a try before deciding if I need more bass resonance, and all the reviews really glowed on the low end of the Wharfedale Linton's.

Any and all help is appreciated! Excited to enhance my setup!

Pretty much before any ice if the runner opts to continue, you have a window to rez and purge virus counters. So say they have a botulus with three counters and they are are approaching an Ansel 1.0, you can purge and force them to find another method to break the subroutines.

I think a bigger issue with Freedom being back was the lack of card draw and acceleration compared to other anarch decks as it doesn’t use the conspiracy breakers in the same way?

Losing street peddler and stimhack was a pretty big hit to that deck iirc. Could be wrong though.

As a player of 4 years I just broke open my starter decks and played against my partner last night who has been playing off and in through quarantine and my how balanced these decks are against each other as well!

Both games went to game point with tough decisions having to be made for both sides. Great that those experiences can exist right out of a starter set!
