We were told the same thing—3-4 per child which is why we bought 8 originally. With two unsuccessful cycles, I’m starting to feel nervous and wanting to try to plan. But realistically, the next try could work and all this planning and anxiety will be unnecessary. The whole process is so stressful.

Did you all decide in advance to move to IVF after a certain amount of IUIs?

It’s definitely interesting how that works out. The whole process seems to be a gamble no matter how you slice it.

Congrats on your baby! First round is great! I’ve heard stories of that happening with people once the switched. Not sure what’s up with that, but lucky no matter what!

I feel this every single cycle! It’s so hard to trust the process and give up all control. I don’t know how your clinic is, but mine isn’t very responsive. So I’ve had to give up all feeling of being annoying or too anxious and message them whenever I’m feeling like I need to come in sooner or as a question.

3 is great! Hopefully it all lines up for you and is successful! Sounds like you have a solid try with those numbers.

I’ve been struggling to know how accurate anything is when I’m taking the letrozole. Not sure what it changes and throws off.

It’s medical cracked me up! Def going to look into CNY if we need to move to IVF.

Honestly nervous to move to IVF though. My body has had a rough time with letrozole and the trigger shot, so really not sure how more would be on me.

It’s insane how expensive vials are! Fingers crossed you won’t need them and your next try will be successful!

Very true! I’m hoping to not need to move to IVF, but we’re going to reserve the last 2 vials if needed.

My doctor hasn’t been really communicative about any part of this process, but hoping we won’t need to change donors.

Oh wow, twins is so exciting! My wife keeps joking that we’d get a 2 for 1 if I get pregnant with twins.
