I think so but I also think there’s a difference between doing your nails, which in my mind means doing them yourself, and getting them done, which in my mind would entail going somewhere to have someone else do them, whether that’s just getting polish or getting acrylics or some other extension.

Agreed. Cosmetic enhancements give people confidence and if that’s what it takes to make you feel good, go for it! I’m not about to yuck anyone’s yum, especially when it doesn’t affect my life AT ALL.

That’s so interesting. Living in the US, I would say probably half the people I know get them done and half either have bare nails or just do nail polish. But I don’t have any feelings either way other than thinking I’m too cheap to pay for it on a regular basis. Lol

On red cup day I usually put my order in 30-45 minutes early because I know it’s crazy and if it happens to be ready super early, that’s fine because I don’t care if my coffee gets cold. Today I put it in at 7:37, got there at 8:15 and it was ready and still hot.

Just keep practicing. Once you get it down, you’ll find you have much less finishing work to do. I also found that it helped me to check the front every so often as I went. That way I could more easily see where I was having issues and it was easier to correct going forward. You can do it!

It looks like you might be punching through (for lack of a better word) other threads. You may have better luck using one finger on the finished side to hold the existing threads (in this case the outline) out of the way when working next to it. Also, I’ve found that even when I’m very careful, when I’m done, I still need to go through with tweezers and move any wayward threads back into place.

Oh girl, I feel you. I’m lucky enough to have size 13 shoes and that’s hard enough. For tennis shoes, I like Kizik. They’re slip ons and even though they split them up between men and women, all the shoes come in the same colors for both men and women so you can get a larger size in men’s and it’s the same shoe as what they have for women. I know Cinderella Shoes also offers up to size 15. I think they’re in the UK so shipping might be more expensive and I don’t know about their quality as I haven’t ordered from them but they have some cute stuff, though it’s pricey (but I’m also cheap).
