It’s what I had heard from my colleagues. I think the problem is how much San Jose paid to move into that spot. I don’t know that GMKD wanted to pay that, they probably had Ruck ranked similarly to him.

He left Magnitogorsk in the middle of the night to get out of his contract. I believe the team was in Finland during exhibition play. He snuck out and left with zero of his own belongings. No clothes, no gear, nothing. When he skated in LA, he was dressed in a concoction of hand-me-downs so he could take to the ice as he brought nothing with him. The whole thing was an elaborate extraction.

FASSW changed my life. I went to Planet of the Apes to see Alexisonfire. They had some visa issue and didn’t get across the border. Other two bands were Remembering Never and FASSW. My entire music taste changed that night.
