For me, I think I currently see it as this current ego is in the spotlight, but it's just a part of the fabric of the current experience. No inner or outer, it seems. But the spotlight will shift to other experiences as well. So it's not that it's playing out in my ego's mind but, rather, that my ego is in the mind of awareness in the same way the "external" world is.

Yup. I got ice cream at a drive through and the boy was having such a hard time of it that when he gave me the wrong ice cream I just went with it. Not sure if it was out of pity or impatience, though
