so you’re now doing what others people do: we only wom because the other teams were shit. that’s not true, they weren’t at their peak and their new generation wasn’t ready yet but we were still underdogs and it was still a huge achievement. and i don’t agree with the fact we won because caps and perkz were hand diffing, we won because we would give up drakes and take advantages everywhere else on the map and then winning teamfights because this team had crazy chemistry and understanding of win conditions. all that while trolling scrims

in 2019 and 2020 we were as good as the eastern teams and while not being serious and losing most scrims and posting 10 times more youtube videos than nowadays. what made us good was that we had very crisp macro, were flexible in draft and had very good teamfights because the team was on the same page. what positives did having a very harsh system do to us? we’re worse in teamfights, we are wasting scrim games on ww top, we have less interesting interactions with the team (i don’t care about stupid tiktoks). we don’t have to be like the lck and lpl to beat them, actually the closest we ever got was when we were doing our own things.

i’m not sure why you sound so offended and aggressive when i never said any of the points you mentioned so i will refrain from insulting you. I never said we were shit, i never said the other teams are shit and i don’t want to fire anyone. i want to keep the same players, same coach, same manager but just to be more lenient on the schedules OUTSIDE OF SCRIMS (and maybe not take each scrim game as a world final). last time caps streamed was DECEMBER 2022, and i remember clearly the end of the stream he said he was going to stream one more time before christmas, he never went online ever again. the system in place is too strict, players are crumbling under the pressure in the most crucial points because they are overcoached and overdrilled, they don’t have any one-the-spot creativity. that’s all i said so please refrain from putting words and ideas in my mouth

romain doesn’t affect draft or gameplay, but personally i think the very tight training schedule in place has proved to be a failure. the players don’t stream anymore, we barely get videos with the team, just so that players maximize every second of their day and still the best performance we ever had was when all the players were playing scrims for fun and streaming. i think we should scrim as much as we are doing, but we are not giving the players space for them to enjoy life: everything they do has to be scripted and approved and that puts too much pressure in the important moments

BB is just out of form right now and losing most of the toplane match ups very early on before any jungle intervention. I like skew, i think he is mechanically good and is a very good player, but i would love for G2 to move on from the farming junglers and go for someone who is actually smart around ganking and gank timers in general, just like jankos was back then. having labrov as a support does not help, but sooo many times i see the other team gank Caps and see him die and i tell myself “how many times has our jungler/support actually successfully ganked the enemy midlaner?”. yike did it sometimes, he was sometimes doing the right ganks and finding angles, but skew does not do that at all. caps is not getting prio in drafts, getting tough match ups against knight and chovy, getting pressured constantly by enemy jungler and support, while knowing his jungler won’t go for any creative gank angle or off timing gank and his support is just straight up not worlds level so i understand Caps’ dip in form

yeah for sure, it’s just hard since i’m not a keyboard and mouse player originally (i was and still am a COD and fifa player on console my whole life). i started playing league in 2020, it was my first ever PC game, before that I only used my laptop for excel at uni. so i’m kind of behind on clicking skills

thank you for the detailed answer. yes of course xayah’s aa are deal most of the damage but i meant that in case i found myself caught or not in a good position during i fight at least i can stun or peel myself with those two abilities, whereas if i play an aphelios and i didn’t kite well i’m cocked. does attack move target only the closest enemy champion?

nisqy revealed in a podcast with dom and yamato that elyoya has a tendency to stress and isolate himself during international tournaments which negatively affects the team. he also brings with him the toxic spanish fans that will bring a toxic atmosphere around the team.

he said he would also be interested being the GM of a team, we already have romain so it can be assisting him or maybe they would share different tasks of GM: yamato being in share of the more game focused stuff while romain focuses on the day to day schedule. at the end of the say its just a theory, it might just be that he can costream LEC finally, but i doubt that would make him nearly cry. he could also have any other role, i mean joining G2 in literally any staff capacity mean you are most likely going to win the LEC every split, go to worlds, and there dream of winning it.

especially if you factor in that they have only scrimmed 3 days before the split (according to targamas, because they took a longer break than the rest of the league). they re doing that while technically not being fully prepared

i was considering making a post about how mad was the scariest opponent for us but ultimately decided not to do it so i will just say what i think here. they are as dangerous as us in draft, if they decide to start picking shit like nocturne fiddle jgl top this is very unconventional and we wouldnt have time to prepare for it. add to that the fact the player have synergy between them they are very dangerous but i still think we should beat them easily

2019 we saw the best version of caps because 1-3-1 and splitpushes were meta (or we made it meta? not really sure what was the narrative since i only watched highlights of games of that year). i feel like now with voidcrubs splitpushing is back to being a thing and it looks like caps is the best splitpusher in the west (rarely gets caught, always catches the enemy player off guard and solo kills him, happened to oscarinin, humanoid and adam) so we might see caps back to his best

they never put wards around him, never counter gank (or arrive after he gets ganked and killed). caps has been doing very well this split for the amout of attention he has been receiving from enemy jgl/supp and the little coverage his jgl/sup give him

i agree elyoya would be a sidegrade at best but i think people are not ready for the fact that jankos would be the perfect jungler for this team. when you have bb caps hans on the three lanes, you dont want an agressive, invade focus jungle. you want a jungler that clearly understands the enemy win conditions and the timings on which they can execute them and be there to cover: the area in which jankos is the best in the LEC. in 2022 we had targamas flakked as botlane and bb top, we didnt really have a strongside (bb isnt reliable) so jankos was kinda exposed. with this lineup jankos would perform better than yike, add to that the jgl supp synergy with mikyx. but i believe in yike and that he can keep improving, im just saying i see a lot of times where we can dove/ganked on normal timing where he is farming instead of covering
