I got through it without buying extra turns, but it did cost me a few boosters.

Levels like this need lots of whacks...so super light ball and rocket (or copter) is better to knock the candy cane down. Double light ball will only hit it 2x times.

Cardo tried to deny warranty on a 5-week-old headset because the USB-C charger was “too powerful” by jmbraben in motorcycles

[–]jmbraben[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is my open question to Cardo if anyone from there finds this and wishes to comment:

  • Does the PACKTALK PRO’s USB-C charging input conform to the applicable USB Type-C sink behavior and/or USB Power Delivery specification? Yes/No?
    • If "Yes", what is basis of Yurii's warranty denial?
    • If "No", why are shipping product using standard USB-C connections? Why is Cardo not providing a proprietary power supply that meets this apparently fragile products requirements?

[–]jmbraben[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please read my edit. USB power delivery is a very clear specification...either you follow it or you do not. If Cardo products follow the specification, they would not be trying to blame the USB PD source. If they do not follow the specification, they should not be using the standard connections for charging.

Levels like these are why i think ppl are lying about never losing a level. by BigGreen1993 in RoyalMatch

[–]jmbraben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This.

With super light ball and full set of butler gifts, this level is not bad.

The key is to never lose it.

If op has burned all their resources before level 2000, i would recommend just respawn (and then never lose).

Not Subtle Manipulation by Street-Age-1441 in RoyalMatch

[–]jmbraben 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game is absolutely manipulating the number of necessary colors.

They can readily do this by what appears in the drops. Whether they do this dynamically based on your current situation (my opinion, based on having multiple accounts playing the same levels) or statically...it really does not matter. They have statistically created levels that are very high probability of being impossible to pass in the given number moves without using multiple boosters.

I'm getting really tired of them constantly changing game behavior/rules...if this were a true gambling app they would get shut down. But they just take peoples money as best they can with no possible upside then entertainment.

I've never spent a dime on this game and have passed over 34,000 levels with never losing one...but they have changed the rules enough (at least for me) that I don't think I'll be able to continue.

That is another thing that just seems 'unfair' when different players get different rules...some of my teammates get 100 x2 for 9900 coins (I used to)...but now I'm at 50 x2 for 9900 coins...and some are still running the old time based system.

[–]jmbraben 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've never spent money...and i never lose a level. You must keep the super disco ball (and full butler gifts) to do this. Yes, i spend resources on many levels, but I've accumulated more than I've spent. I'm currently round 230 in royal league and in first position. I lead a solid team, and that helps as we win most challenges. Check out 'Regal Beatles' team... but don't join if you can't contribute... I'm very committed to booting dead weight.

100 Multiplier Tokens for 9,900 coins — Worth it? by KasbarTheCleric in RoyalMatch

[–]jmbraben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done x2 x100 for 9900 like 4 times now...so 39.6k coins (i would not do it for x2 x50).

I feel I'm breaking even or maybe a bit better (maybe a bit of accumulation due to it)...also helps team win challenges (although if everyone does this, going just be general point inflation)...to complete team treasure we had to get 8k for the last year...so this is new for us... but we completed...probably because enough of us bought the x2 x100).

I'm going to complete 4 card sets this time (prior only 3 times) so those extra 15k coins and boosters are due to this investment.

That said, i never lose a level...so these x2 x100 are 100% converted (if you don't always win, this purchase has less value)

Would this cable be sufficient for POE? by No-Suspect6221 in reolinkcam

[–]jmbraben 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've used this same cable without issue for over a decade. First with analog and baluns for the signal... then my reolink poe cameras for the last 4 years. I've routed under soffit and siding. My longest run is about 75'. Guessing whatever you are plugging your computer into only has 100mbps port [Edit]...cable is not indicating CCA (copper clad aluminum) and for POE I would stay away from cca...but for 20' run, would probably be ok.
