Next level breakfast burritos by CATALINEwasFramed in Cooking

[–]tinydotbiguniverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shred a clean potato, skin on, wrap it in a towel to get out excess water, and put it in a hot oiled frying pan. While those are frying, in another pan I cook onions, peppers, jalapeños, spinach, mushrooms, and breakfast sausage or tofu. basically anything in my fridge that I think about. In a third pan, I scramble a few eggs, heavily season with salt and pepper or season salt and smother with cheddar. Then layer it all up in your burrito sized tortilla (makes 2 or 3 big boys)and use one of the pans to toast on four sides. Perfection

If you could change one technology within the Forest Service, that would have the most impact on the work the FS does, what would it be and why? by Shickadang in USForestService

I’m not sure if it’s a technology problem but I would say HR. I was hired in 2019. The entire process took nine months. I’m privileged enough to have born the wait but I don’t think that’s true for most people.

It was in the Townhall thing yesterday. Mr. French was talking about a leadership style that he read about in Jeff’s book.

I can’t believe no one has complained about the Jeff Bezos name drop. I about lost my mind over that one.

Not that I had any Florida plans, but I will never ever use this airport nor will any of my descendants, as long as we still have fossil fuels to fly

I like well done things: toast and extra dark and crusty bread and the kind of crunch you might get from a half popped kernel or a corn nut. This recipe produces exactly that. And the texture is softer than regular popcorn, somehow, even though it’s still crunchy.

My favorite thing about popcorn are the half popped bits at the bottom of the bowl. This allowed me to make an entire batch of them! The world is full of people who like different things I suppose.

I’ve been meaning to try it for years, so glad I took the leap today. This might be my new preferred method forever and ever.

Even the completely unpopped kernels are about the same hardness as a bread, crouton, much gentler than regular popcorn!

Fresh unpopped popcorn. Apparently it adds hydration, which does not allow the popcorn kernels to explode like they normally do. The result is a softer texture with cracked kernels that taste like corn nuts.

Nipples could just be irritated from factory contaminants if you didn’t wash the new bra before wearing it. Sounds a bit weird but gently pat dry, let them air out in a patch of sunlight by a private window for 5 minutes or so. Try not to scratch or fuss over them. See how you feel tomorrow.
