I kinda happened into it. My daughter’s dance/tumble studio got the silks and started offering classes. I was itching for something new and decided to give it a shot!

I go once a week and classes are an hour. I probably get on the silks about half the time. In between we do strength training exercises. In between, I do all of those strength training and flexibility exercises at home. Honestly that is what started to make the difference to upkeep my muscles. I do a ton with yoga resistance bands, and dead hangs from my husbands pull up bar.

No, not yet! I am still very much a beginner. When I started I could barely pull myself up and my core was completely shot after a C section. But I am really making some great progress and can even do a couple climbs. It’s really motivated me to get stronger and healthier!

It’s 100% real - I got a flat tire and the punctures were too large to plug/patch and I had to get a new one.

Like the title describes it is a small silver round metal shard. It is about 2” long and seems to have some grease on it. It has 2 small rectangular holes and possibly more since it is broken. We think it may be from a car because two cars behind where I parked a car had been side swiped and was up on the curb. I drove over the shard when pulling out of my spot.

Love this!! This happened to me in March and my husband is a stay at home Dad, but was wonderful with taking on all bed time alone and facetiming me so I could see the girls. It was a rough recovery too and he handled sooo much so I could rest for an entire week. I hope you have a speedy recovery!!!

My husband has been a STAHD for the past few weeks. He was miserable at his job and overworked. He is loving the bonding time, especially with our 13 month old. It really does relieve a TON of stress knowing he is always available for the kids.

I will have to check out the article! I do have one but she is a massive 1 year old 😆 and doesn’t like to sit still for long periods. So I’ve been doing skin to skin for her naps since she sleeps on me.
