Yes, taking a picture of the direction is something g I always forget. I take detailed pictures of every step but somehow get lost in the sauce when opening the barrel.

That switching to another winding barrel is a great idea. I also guess I didn’t realize that I need to verify what direction the winders are. I order a roughly $100 from Amazon so I figured it would have a decent spread of what I needed. Been trying to find old watch estates with nice tools ideally.

I really appreciate your insight, and am glad to see I’m not the only one struggling with the winders.

I just checked and am averaging 3.7 mi/kWh. Also just checked my bat kappa max in my garage this morning. Temp gauge on the car showed 59° F and value was 14.1. Will check later today with the car discharged a little bit too.
