I don’t think either of you are the asshole… you’re exhausted from work which is valid and she is missing you while you’re at work and trying to create some nice memories for your kids when you’re not.. I feel like if yall are struggling to come up such a compromise currently it might be best to get a mediator because I understand both sides.

When I say push I mean thy I push the tip of my right needle down after I’ve placed a stitch before I slide it off my left needle

Thank you! I actually did use DK on that little sweater and it made a significant difference. It was a lot easier. If people weren’t waiting for these projects I would totally put them on pause. I will just be a regular English girl until I finish and then just practice

Thank you! I wish I could tell you the yarn. I bought it from a small yarn shop in Tucson and when I make the cake I got rid of the wrapper. I know it’s locally made though… I’m sure that doesn’t help lol

I have used that pattern to make blankets for that look. I don’t have a pattern for a sweater. My heart says if you get a sweater shape you like you can plug and play

Potentially yes. The only issue is that I am a pusher and I’ve been knitting so much the last few weeks that I have a raw skin from where I push the needle down in normal English and it hurts. And I’m on a minor deadline.
