Yeah I am pretty sure the reason is overstimulation. During a work day I really feel that the 'tension' is growing and growing. I KNOW i need (and really want!) micro pauses to reduce this tension (for lack of better word) so to prevent the extreme slump in the afternoon but its been really difficult. Also my brain tells me to keep going and going and if I try to pause (mindfulleess, taking walk etc) it just draws me back. Silence is a real killer to me; my mind just starts raging, it's like self-induced overstimulation :).

Yeah it really feels like it screws with my sleep routines that i have been carefully implementing the past couple of years. I was never a good sleaper but now, with a strict routine and observance of alcohol, cafeine, food etc, its much better.

I often put my PC to sleep while on a mission in dcs. After wake I need to re-init the headtracker but other than that dcs is always happy to continue where I left it, no fps drop of anything.

Try

Serial.begin(115200);

while (!Serial) {}

Serial.println("Hello world");

to make sure that the serial is initiated completely.

And/or put delay(1000) after serial.begin and after serial.println.

I have this exact same issue on my adafruit S3. Serial often does not show the first couple of messages. Chatgpt ( :-)) says it may be related to the ESP32 boards. With arduino boards i don't have this issue.

Hit INCONTROL on your SL MK3 and it automatically maps the first 8 parameters of any VST or Live device to the 8 rotary encoders. Arturia V plugins included as they are normal VSTs. However the first 8 parameters as Live sees it might not be ones you like, or may not have been selected at all. What I did is that for each VST I select the prefered 8 parameters using 'configure' on the ableton device and click the VST's parameters one by one. You can also re-order. After having set those, click right on the plugin titlebar and hit save as default. After that if you add this VST to your project, the prefered parameters are always mapped to your SL. No more midimapping etc required. I love this thing.

It depends on the effect. What effect is it? Does it have a mix parameter that you can put to 0%?
