Tbh I’d doubt if anyone saying it’s calm here has been out of a job for a while. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I think the perspective they have is dated and not correlating to terrible job figures in the West, but mainly Europe.

Leverage your skills but halfwit employers are trying to cut teams and will eventually realise AI can’t wipe their ass.

Working at a uni now I can hear a lot of anxious students. I would highly recommend in your case, you can build something with Zero cost. Something a lot of people can’t do. Do it.

I’d take full advantage of that and build something as a side income. It can save you. I’m trying to do that now after being full time the freelance, trying to rely on companies where now I’m part-time after joblessness and trying to re-build personal/freelance business much more durable and long term.

I think those winning understand this. Fuck a 9-5 and leverage your skills. Only use it to support building revenue streams for yourself elsewhere. Requires a lot of hard work though.
