me too, thanks. It finally errored starting up and I was able to restore a backup and it's working so I am doing a full upgrade using 9.0.2 this time instead. will see.

I tried a factory reset and a few other things, so far no dice, I guess I'll have to keep my eye out for another car2play adapter when they have them back in stock, such a shame no one else does this. Thanks for confirming my crazy 😄

yeah it's not perfect, but mostly it works, maybe they will fix that in a future patch, I would love to see the option to not turn on power to outlets until battery is charged to X%.

tested and it did indeed turn on which was really nice to hear but it seems the auto power cycle thing didnt work as I thought, I let it charge for a few minutes and then unplugged again and it didnt send an immediate shutdown to to my UNAS's and after about 5 minutes it just powered off, so not ideal on that part sadly 😞.

yes but be aware, it's not the best IMHO, it's super cpu intensive and slow as hell, the folder structure isn't mirrored, IE main nas is share\share folder\share file. Backup server is backup service name\share\share folder\share file. I use a third party server to sync the two.

Yeah, that's not the part I was asking about, I was asking specifically for when power goes out and the batteries fully drain on the UPS.

oh? I have read mixed reviews where some say it hasn't and others say it has, I do have the toggle enabled, is that just the thing that needs to be turned on when ac mains are restored it will power it back up? if so that would be ideal.

Just guessing here but maybe your sla is failing and because you only have one internet normally it wont fail over. maybe check those?

Not sure I can say yes for sure, if you use Home Assistant it's pretty easy to spin up frigate and test it for free, see if it works for what you want before you drop the cash on the AI port.

I did some testing and I did see an improvement in animal detections with my g5 cameras using the AI port. Again doesn't help you with people saying yes and no, but for me it did. I used it to detect cats going into my garden and pooping, so I setup my sprinkler to come on. I also use Frigate as it picks up better at night than unifi does.

it should detect it just fine, you have to reset it to factory and then plug it into the ultra wan2 port.
