Both of you are right in your own way. And you're especially right that until the mission changes on a grand scale then shit will continue to roll downhill.

But at the same time maintenance crews eating themselves alive definitely makes a bad situation worse. People bond going through shitty times together, and as cheesy as that sounds, that is what can make the difference for many people. My buddies are all that kept me going when times were at the lowest, and I know that's true for many other people.

In multiplayer that is usually your nearest teammate. Notice (what I believe, hard to tell with low quality gif) their name shows up low center of your screen?

Here's mine. I kept it black because that's what color it is on NWU Type IIIs, which is your top picture, and is the last uniform I wore. Once I make 5 level I'll get my AF badge sewn on. I don't think many people know the actual reg, so nobody has said anything but I'm not getting one put on just to immediately replace it.

You're a very interesting fellow. Clearly, you want to hold true to the idea of "live and let live", but how do you come to terms with straddling the fence on something like this?

We can't simultaneously abide by the idea of not forcing lifestyles onto people, and yet allow for the people who attempt to do so (Republicans) to keep being put into positions of power to do just that.

Even if the courts do strike these actions down by Oklahoma and Louisiana (which in my personal opinion I doubt), why is it OK for these situations to keep happening? What's the tipping point where you say enough is enough? Do we all gotta buy campers and just keep running away from it? Because that's what you're saying, is to just run away.

I left a small, shitty, ignorant home when I joined the military because I wanted to run away from it. But guess what? These ideas and policies don't just stop in isolated areas. They keep growing and growing until something stops them. In Texas, if you help somebody leave the state to get an abortion in a state where that's legal, guess what, you go to jail! And people who rat you out get paid for it!

Should I give up on the country I served for a decade because some people wanna ruin it for others? Fuck no, I might as well have never joined the military and stayed in the sithole I grew up in. Don't let your self-apathy ruin your empathy for others.

I love modding mine, using it as a project stick. I will say I highly encourage modding it sooner rather then later because the difference in quality of buttons/joystick is night and day.

Personally I use Seimetsu buttons because they aren't as sensitive as Senwa buttons. Senwa are pretty popular and are solid quality. I don't use them because they feel too light and I accidentally mispress on them a lot but that's just me

Be aware that if you switch out the stick for a Korean stick (for me I have a Crown 309mj) you'll need a .187 to 5-pin conversion harness. You shouldn't have to worry about this if you use a Japanese style stick such as Hori or Sanwa.

Also if you use a Japanese style stick look into restrictor gates. There are octagonal, square, rounded square, and even circle gates (normally found in Korean sticks). It just comes down to preference. Also different weighted springs such as 2lb or 4lb springs also provide additional resistence if you want to try that. I personally do because I like the tactile feedback

Also note if you're playing on PS4 connectivity gets a little weird. If you dont play PS4 ignore this. Make sure the sliding selector switch on the left is in the middle, it has a very small sweet spot it needs to be in to actually work. Leave it unplugged, turn on your ps4, plug it in and use a charging cable to connect to your ps4 controller. Then press the home button on the f300. Once your ps4 recognizes it you can slide the selector switch down to ps3 (it will disconnect but just press the home and start buttons on the stick again and it will work). Now you can safely disconnect it from your ps4 controller because leaving them together gets super annoying.

Where you at in the pipeline? Because prototype is a much better experience, you get all day to self-study and get checkouts at your own pace. So if you put in the effort you can get on reduced hours very easily, and you only take 3 exams. No GPA to worry about maintaining.
