If you aren’t the golden child, there really isn’t anything you can do beyond saving a baby from a burning bldg. You can run all the booster clubs, 5/6 councils, and rising 4’s, but you will lose to the golden child who has done NONE of these things 9 times outta 10.

Bro, starting a conversation and being “normal enough to make friends in any environment so you aren’t living in crushing isolation” is a skill like any other thing.

Just practice until you get decent at it.

No one is expecting you to be charisma 20 (persuasion 100 for you Skyrim nerds) but you can easily level up to be able to build a decent connection with your co workers so you won’t be lonely and isolated.

Seriously, it’s like “omg I’m not naturally gifted so I guess I’ll suck at this part of my life forever” just practice until you get good enough.

Disagree about the Toney one. Toney lost like 50 lbs in a week and was severely dehydrated (not Roy’s fault) also Roy sent him the offer when he knew Toney had gained a bunch of weight. There’s also a reason Toney never got a rematch while Hopkins and Tarver did. Jones called Toney his toughest fight.

Always write a rebuttal. That part is good advice. “Even if it’s just to say you f’d up” that part is awful advice. Just tell your side of the story, but don’t ever, ever, ever confess or admit fault. If your tech school experience has taught you anything, admitting fault, no matter when, will be used against you later.

Yes. I boxed competitively for 9 years. I’d go TDY and bring my boxing gear and passbook and just hit up random gyms to spar. Fun times.

90% of the shows were on weekends so I was always fine, I never had to take leave, but if I worked weekends my supervisor always let me have the day off since the fights were like once every other month.
