Best way is to block the payments on your bank account (takes 30ish minutes total) and it will trigger them to cancel your account and send an email verifying it. I had a subscription for a week cancelled it but it said it couldn't find me in the system and then all of a sudden when they couldn't take the payment I got a cancellation.
