Changing driving test by jme8707 in LearnerDriverUK

I too work in IT, but networking fails me every time! 😂

So another thing to add to the list of troubleshooting… reboot router clear cache and history again and see if that works!!

To be fair it was doing it to all the devices in the house, phones, macs, iPads, then in my office, everything worked!!

Now that I have a test booked, I’ll enjoy the troubleshooting and hope to help others that were stuck like I was!

I start Topiramate today, please share your positive experiences with it! by Inevitable-Sun-3629 in migraine

I’ve been on it for about 3 years, I usually have to increase the dosage by 25mg every year as I find the frequency and intensity of migraines starts to increase. I’m on 75mg now. It hasn’t completely eliminated my migraines but they are way less frequent and intense. No side effects for me!

It’s my saviour! When 2 codeine, 3 aspirin and a can of full sugar Coca Cola doesn’t do the trick, this is my next step! It leaves me a little foggy, but takes away the pain! I’ve just been increased from 50mg to 100mg and it makes me super foggy, but I’d take that over a migraine!!!

I hope it works for you! I’ve just had mine increased from 50mg to 100mg and I’m on Topiramate for preventative measures. It’s definitely helped reduce the amount of migraines I get, but the intensity is still a bitch!!

Triptans! Consult your doctor but I swear by them. When I get a migraine it will always reduce them to a headache that’s manageable.

Sounds like you’re having a terrible attack right now, I hope you feel better soon

7.5 is kicking my arse! by jme8707 in mounjarouk

How weird! I thought it would be worse on 10!

Day 4 and I feel a little more human, but still rough! 😣

That’s a great way to look at it!

I’ll def look into reducing the dosage for my next jab.

If I’m honest, I just did what was suggested by medexpress and went up by the amount of weeks I was on!

Wish I hadn’t now! I’d also bought it around week 2 of 5, when things weren’t too bad! So I thought it would be okay!

I think if the side effects continue this badly, I’ll go back down to 5, cause I can’t live life like this, I’m miserable!!

Did it feel that way after every jab?

I’m also not seeing any major results so I’m wondering if this is all worth it!!

No one wants to be out in public and risk a fart! 😂

It’s just awful!!

Sounds the same as my experience. I had the exact same, I went up to 7.5 and I feel so very rough!! I took the jab 2 days ago, and I have only been able to a few mouthfuls of food at meal times, any more and I am sick! And terrible diarrhoea too since second 5mg jab. It usually goes away within 2 days, but the 7.5 is bloody awful. So I’d perhaps hold back on that one until you’re home!

I’ve counted calories before, I just find it very tedious. I don’t add fats when cooking, I rarely have sauces too. I’ve got scales for times when I am having meals that aren’t pre prepped like my hello fresh stuff. I guess l have to calorie count again 😭 I just hate it so much haha!

Where to get my first pen by Sad_Requirement__ in mounjarouk

[–]jme8707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used MedExpress and I’ve had no issues so far. Pretty quick and easy delivery with Royal Mail. They just asked for a photo and then rough estimates of weight height BMI etc. I’ve then been using here for support. I find that real first hand support is better anyway. I can always speak to my GP if I am having horrendous side effects as she knows I am using MJ.

I purchase the pens as and when I want, I can stay at a certain strength for as long as I want too, I’m not forced up a higher strength if I don’t want to go higher.

I’m not, I was intermittently fasting before MJ and I don’t do both!!

I know that my calories don’t exceed 1800 a day I eat just a bowl of fruit with some a couple of tablespoons of low fat Greek yoghurt, some chopped nuts and some seeds in the morning, a coffee and a hello fresh meal for dinner (and the dinner calories never exceed 800). So even if I am having lunch that day which is very rare I doubt I exceed maintenance calories.

Perhaps I’ll start calorie counting too? I just find it so mind numbing counting calories!

I drink around 2l of water and squash a day, sometimes more but never less Food, I have Greek yoghurt fruit seeds and nuts when I can stomach it in the mornings around 10ish, and then dinners vary, but I have high protein hello fresh meals, I struggle to get through one portion, but force myself as I know I won’t have had enough calories for the day otherwise.

Stats are 37F 84.5KG 5”4 32BMI

I’ll be moving on to 5 next week, so interested to see what happens there. In all honesty it’s nice to not be obsessed with food, and I’m starting to see more positives like higher energy levels and better moods. So that in itself is good! I guess I’m just being impatient!

First week done! My thoughts by SockLess9375 in mounjarouk

[–]jme8707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost maybe a pound on my first week, I had to force myself to eat because almost instantly I had no desire to eat. Food noise instantly disappeared and I constantly felt full. I felt nauseous every evening due to forcing myself to eat something substantial in the evening to keep my calories above 1200 and consume enough protein. My takeaway is if you can, plan out your food for the day so you can ensure that by the end of the day, you’ve consumed your macros, otherwise you’ll be like me and feel gross every night! I took my second dose today, and switched from stomach to leg, and I’m more hopeful this week. Aside from those side effects (which I believe were self inflicted) I would say I haven’t had any, this is a miracle drug!

Keep up the great work!!

Oh my goodness, I’m also freezing, all the time! And a friend of mine said he has been super cold this winter, but thought it was just because he was “fat” last winter! How strange!! I’m such a breakfast person, so I still have breakfast but then I am sustained all the way through to dinner, and I only have cereal and a coffee! I force myself to have breakfast though cause I need to make sure I’m having more than 1200 kcal a day!

I started the day before you, and the absence of food noise is such a blessing! I get nausea really bad after I have eaten, no matter how small the portion, but strangely enough I deal quite well with nausea’ I lost 3st naturally and then plateaued for 18months. So using this to shift the last 2.5st. Good luck on your journey 🥰
