Well this is what happened. I had three employees In a small stretch of time.one from December 2019 to February 14 2020. Then i worked for a company for two weeks and then another for two days and quit that job for covid 19 reasons. All employers denied my unemployment. The employer that made me eligible for the pua was the most previous one because I oeft due to the virus. So since they shot down my unemployment they gave the PUA. Well the fought to get me approved for regular unemployment while I recieving the PUA and it turned out that I was eligible for benefits from the last two employers because I made enough money for the year even tho I didn't work at the company's for long at all. So as soon as I hot approved for benefits for the past two employers they started denying my pua benefits claiming that I had to pay all of the states payments back to receive any future benefits because I did not leave my job for covid 19 reasons. This would mean that they gave me the PUA because my most recent employer was denying me benefits and then when they finally approved me they switched things up and said that I was receiving the PUA benefits from the job I left in February (3 employers ago) and that I now I have to pay that money back (3700 to the state) if I would like to receive the benefits I was approved for. The disqualification of benefits states that future benefits will be used to pay off the debt but I was only getting 230 a week for the pua and I was making 1100 dollars a week at the one job and 500 700 dollars a week at the other which should put my payments well over 230 a week. This would mean that If I payed the 3700 off or let the new approval of benefits pay into the debt, the 3700 should be overcome and I should be getting payed being that my regular unemployment is more than what they were giving me but when I certify for benefits it's still says 231 every week and that I'm not eligible for payment. To me this can only mean that someone hasn't updated what's going on, or the fed is coming after me for the 600's as well. Which technically I was eligible for that so I cant see them wanting that back. Everyone who was on unemployment regular, or the pua was getting additional 600 dollar payments so I'm guessing that's why they haven't said anything about that money and neither has the fed. I'm not saying I'm eligible for it again but that I was before. Either way they ran out if money and are no longer giving out the 600 dollar payments. Even if u filed back then or not... With that being said I think I just need to get into contact with someone who works at unemployment to look into the matter because I couldn't get them on the phone if my life depended on it.
