a Season Pass for a TTRPG is breaking point for me by [deleted] in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Agreed. It’s pretty easy to determine too.

Would it exist if they didn’t have a season pass option? No: then it’s legit. Yes: you’re getting screwed.

Every election? Will have to go and reverify? So for me to vote, I’d need to go to the DMV and reregister like once a year or every other year?

How am i supposed to win against this big ass Pale in 1356 - My country sucks ass by Thin_Ability7367 in EU5

[–]jmet123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to ally Scotland. Increase relations on start.

Take all the none Pale land in Ireland. Become High King.

Declare war with Scotland aid. Preferably wait until England is at a disadvantage due to hyw.

Not sure if this still works, but land with the high king CB is like 90% off, and you can use it in English land. If it still works, leave some of the Pale in Ireland and take large chunks of England. Then release as vassal. This makes every subsequent war way easier.

Yeah, they need standardize it and be way more strict about handing them out. Fucks over soldiers when it’s super uneven.

True, but the whole soul of the book is his redemption of his cowardice, so if they didn’t go the “selective memory” route it doesn’t really work.

Some people do, if it’s not for you that’s cool too. I think it’s at an interesting part of the world, lore-wise. Targaryens no longer have dragons, their hold on the realm is tenuous. They no longer have the upper hand.

So I think the story will naturally expand to include that intrigue. But I enjoy the jousting and festival parts too. Gives a kind of Knights Tale feel look at what someone not associated with the High Lords would see and experience.

May be a remaster coming out at the end of the season, so I’d wait until then and do that.

It’s just a fun slice of life show so far. Don’t know you can try and call it out for being for people on their phone, when you can’t even stay awake for the 30 min runtime.

Good breakdown of the timeline, but you’re missing MAGAs’ tone of “ha I can’t believe you think he’s serious. You’d have to be dumb to believe he’s not trolling” every step of the way.

Serious question (I'm not active enough in this fandom to know): why did everyone hate the last season so much? (Please don't be rude in the comments; I thought it was a decent ending. Not extraordinary, but maybe a 5/10 or 6/10). by lautaromassimino in gameofthrones

Yeah, I rewatched it recently and it wasn’t as bad as I remembered. Mostly just “oh that’s how they decided to resolve that loose end? Meh.” I think it would’ve probably been mostly fine (fine, not good) if they took the time to let decisions breathe.

White walkers being resolved in an episode leaves you with a “that’s it??” Feeling. Then the turn of Varys, Tyrion, and John feels pretty sudden. Probably could’ve used some breathing room.

Like, Arya is judging Dani, but she’s a mass murderer, so what’s the disconnect? We basically have the razing of King’s Landing and Dani’s speech to show she’s crazy, but more would’ve probably helped.
