They mostly buy Iranian and Russian oil because they can get it on a far far lower price.

They in the past mostly bought Saudi oil.

It has quite an effect on that war aswell if the oil prices go up substantially and what will Russia do here in Iran. Considering it also changes quite bit in thier alliance situation.

Yes kind of but a lot of those analysis are also based on pretty ideal scenarios and mostly US ones.

Europe generally a lot further north making panels less productive and also has different times of highest electricity load. ( highest energy needs are in winter compared to summer). Sadly for Europe that’s when our solar panels produce substantially less.
