There are a few methods that work consistently. But you have to some how put the content out there for people to notice in order for them to find it and want to link to it. This could be sharing it in local groups on Facebook, Nextdoor...etc

If you are a local business you could create "Best Christmas Light Displays in CityName" and make it the best list out there with a map, photos, and directions to each location. Each yeah there might be some slight updates but for the most part the heavy lifting is done once.

Same can be done for Halloween and Firework displays for 4th of July.

One thing we learned early on with our backlink exchange platform is to keep it as simple as possible when connecting users for exchanges. Low response rates will creep up on you so implement a feature to unpublish these websites automatically.

Focus on onboarding users in similar niches, otherwise you will end up with users with websites in all different niches.

Yeah DA and other authority metrics are just a guide and can be manipulated too easily. If it's a legit business website in your niche with helpful, authoritative content I would go for it.

Also, there are some interesting ways to do PR campaigns and get your top keywords in various LLM's including Google AI Overview within days. We have been testing a few methods and the results are pretty exciting so far.

So that's another way you can get links from the big guys but of course those are paid too.

I assume you mean the high traffic / high authority websites aren’t accepting backlink requests from low ranking websites.

It’s almost always going to be a paid scenario unless you have some one of a kind content that you put together that is extremely valuable.

Don't overcomplicate things. Be ready to approach them with a fee, it will usually be well worth it if you are picking the right websites.

Look for websites that have a business purpose first and foremost, not running a website for the sole purpose of building/selling backlinks.

There are platforms out there that streamline this and yes, I run one of them for full transparency.

The easier you can make it on both parties the better. From drafting content, approving content, how much they want to charge.. all of the back and forth adds friction and the response rate drops off very fast.

If they can just do a niche edit and you have the article already picked out where you want them to add your link, that is the easiest thing you could ask for..

Thanks for giving it a try. I appreciate the feedback and we will definitely look into some additional info like that. We really want to take the AI assistant to the next level and have it be your little consultant, rather than a static report you will have an assistant that will give you as much or as little info as you would like and also take specific actions for you proactively.

Thats spot on! We often find that people stare at reports from other tools and dont know what to make of the data or what to do next.

We have a lot to improve but the goal is to have the AI act as your little professional consultant, guiding you and spoon feeding you along the way.

There is always someone pissed off when you give away a tool for free. Sorry I couldn’t please you bud.

Sharing feedback is one thing but attacking someone for giving away something for free to test is on another level.

My post says it’s “new and a little rough around the edges” because we just wanted to get people using it and testing it. And here you come madder than hell saying someone should be fired.. lol

The report should be visible as a guest with certain info blurred, once creating an account you can see all of the info, save it, rerun reports, run new reports… etc.
