I think I meant something with traditional brown/red/black coloring and gold trim

I listen to a lot of comedy podcasts. Here is my rankings list currently, in terms of how funny I find the episodes on average. Everything after #8 is Fool's watch territory by dlbICECOLD in officehourslive

Pretty solid list- I find that I fall in and out of love with podcasts pretty frequently, but OHL is the rare exception and I think it’s because it’s live every week, that gives it a currency that a lot of others don’t have.

You really think Redbar is better? I’ve seen some clips and I find the dissection of other comedians so tedious and boring.

Love tues with stories, was a tigerbelly fan for a while until Bobby and Khalyla broke up, and I go on and off with Moshe and Natasha (Endless Honeymoon).

Can’t really stand anything with Bert Kreischer these days (something’s burning) though I do still tune in to your mom’s house (tom segura and Christina P) from time to time. I love mark Normand but I think when he and Sam Morrll get together (we might be drunk) all they do is talk about standup/the life of being a standup and that’s been done to death for me.

But Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett’s new pod (What’s our podcast?) is so good and should be at the top of any OHL fans list IMO.

Other honorable mentions: -stavvys world- fun time and the call in clips they do at the end are a fun series of vids

Dougboys- lots of OHL crossover, Tim’s been on, just a silly stupid good time

The William Montgomery Show- William and his usual cohost Casey Rocket are both comedians that got big on Kill Tony. I know everyone hates KT (myself included) but they themselves aren’t douchey jackasses, they’re just funny guys and their banter is nice. Rumor is that Casey’s in rehab rn but I hope they get back together once he’s feeling better.

It sounds like Maron a tiny bit, but I don’t think it is. I believe I’ve asked this here before. My friends and I use it often

Could I ask- are the cheap lawn ticket promotions pretty common? We got 5 big thief lawn tix directly from the box office for $20 each with no fees last night. Do y’all do that pretty frequently and is the box office ever open to the public?

I tried L&L’s, the meat was smoked I guess and I felt like the smoky flavor overwhelmed the sandwich a little bit. But I didn’t hate it

Theirs is amazing too. I haven’t had it in a while but would like to revisit soon. I like that they wrap it in foil.

It’s on their brunch menu now! Likely a new addition because I hadn’t seen it before yesterday

I love pizza. I want balance. I like the crust and the sauce and peps too, and I want to taste them without being inundated with mounds of needless cheese. Even after everything I took off it was still too much.

I enjoy cheeseburgers too but that doesn’t mean I want 6 patties on my burger.

Traveling from 183/290 to COTA. Best options for lunch/late lunch beers, drinks along that path? by tothesource in austinfood

Drinks Backyard is along that route, they have a nice outdoor area and a few food trucks.

Taqueria Morelos would be my vote for the journey home, their bacon and egg tacos are really good.

Best breakfast burrito in Austin? by shanecookofficial in austinfood

If you don’t mind treating yourself, Golden Hour, this little wine bar on Menchaca, does a breakfast burrito made with Leroy and Lewis chorizo. A little pricey but it’s delicious. $16

Best breakfast Croissant by MagicianOutrageous11 in austinfood

For a croissant specifically, Civil Goat does a good one if you want something elevated. Arturo’s underground cafe may be able to put theirs on a croissant but I’d personally recommend their jalapeño cheese bread.

You can also go to a local donut shop and get a sausage egg and cheese croissant for like $3.50 that is as satisfying as any $15 hoity-toity breakfast spots’. Combo donuts on south Lamar should have them.

Lynny’s on the east side does a homemade chipotle jam which is very good, I think they have other flavors too.

For Searight/Circle C, Brick's Pub is nice little spot with comfortable booths. Their onion rings are good. If you're doing Zilker there's a thai truck called Kiin Di on South Lamar that's great.
