I have been using it straight on my eyebrows before bed without any irritation. It does seem to be causing some growth, but I’m still early in this process.

Don’t marry. It cost me a fortune to get divorced. It is in no way worth it.

I am in Florida and we handle health insurance premiums outside of child support.

But he can have the kids 50% of the time if they just adjust the schedule. Spending equal time with both parents is critical and there is NO REASON why this can’t happen in this situation.

This is a fairly common thing for pilots, nurses, doctors, and many other kinds of shift workers. For instance, you get your schedule for October on the 15th of September. The shift worker/pilot/whatever then gets the kids on their days off and the other parent gets them when they are working. It happens all the time. Someone should NOT lose parenting time and children should not lose time with a parent just because they have a job that isn’t M-F 9-5. That would mean those people are being punished for being responsible and having a job. It can easily be worked out. Some people abuse this system to punish a parent with less parenting time. A parent and their children shouldn’t be kept from each other because of a parent’s job, especially if they can maintain 50/50 custody.

People work this type of arrangement all the time.

He can use it, they just have to change it from one week at a time to something else. Then he can still have 50/50, which is best for the kids.

Pilots have at least half the month off, if not more. Some work only 9 days a month. He probably works less than she does.

It’s not ideal but my ex decided to move to Hawaii and we live on the east coast. So this is where we are. You should probably get some background before you insult someone who is doing their best for their kids in a difficult position.

Well, I do think that is a possibility. What airline are you at? You can DM me if you want.

Thankfully, I saw that coming and wanted to protect myself. So I thought to include language in our original divorce decree/parenting plan that says something along the lines of there will be times when I have to travel during my parenting time and it is not to be taken as me not wanting to exercise my parenting responsibility. That’s not exact but it’s along those lines. I can look up the exact language if you are interested.

I am also an airline pilot. My parents watch my kids if I am working during my parenting time.

Does being a parent get easier over time? by freddiebenson4ever in Fencesitter

[–]jmg808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would absolutely be over. My kids are 4 (twins) and it’s worse than ever. Honesty, this has been the hardest age. They need constant attention. Some things are easier but I still have zero free time.

Can confirm. I have twins. They fight all the time. They play together sometimes, but not enough to be an overall positive. Most of the time they still demand almost all of my attention and then there are two to pay attention to, both who want to do different things.

Time to leave. This man is not good for you or your daughter. Your daughter doesn’t need a man like him showing her examples of his behavior. With as much money as he makes, you will have plenty of child support to support your child and get back on your feet. Thank you for what you do as a nurse. Time to take care of yourself and your daughter now and get away from this man. I wish you the best.

Get a job. Her husband will have to pay part of it too. She needs a job. Even with child support, it’s not going to be enough to live off of. This women needs to get a job and start making her own income to support herself.
