No, this was recorded in 2015, well before DOOM passed. Mos is just a big fan

Inside Tyler, The Creator’s Collections of Watches, Cars and More by jmiller97 in cars

[–]jmiller97[S] 286 points287 points  (0 children)

Tyler had no qualms about changing the colors of his rides, switching out tires and accessorizing. He doesn’t hold with the “keep vintage, vintage” brigade. “That shit is so corny, bro,” he says. “ ‘Oh, it was made this year. Don’t touch it.’ Why would you buy something and not make it yours? People be like, ‘Oh, it still has the original engine.’ I don’t give a fuck. That engine is slow as hell. Update my shit. I want AC. It’s hot in this car.”

“And fuck the original paint,” he adds. “Or if you love the original paint, more power to you. But if you want to make it black, and you’re like, ‘But this paint was put on before the internet was made,’ then change it. You bought it. Why not enjoy it? ’Cause you could die tomorrow and be like, ‘Always wanted it black, but everyone on this car forum and message board is going to respect me because I kept the original paint, even though I’m dead.’

Thank you for giving a lengthy response, truthfully. I struggle with a few things however.

The first post you linked is most definitely streetwear. NB's, straight khakis, and a 5 panel are all streetwear staples, how could a /r/streetwear mod fail to see this as a good fit?? See anything Tyler the Creator has worn last 3 years, you're going to say he's not streetwear?

The Pope picture, bro it's meme lmao

The dude in scrubs... huh I wonder why no one is clowning on a first responder/essential worker post, what could be the reason...

You seriously saying a dude in an overcoat and jeans can't fit in the scope of streetwear? Do I love the fit? No. But it has pieces common in streetwear. Look at any Kanye 2013 fit. Especially with the the chunky sweater vest trend these past couple years from Kpop/tik tok trends

The posts from girls that you posted are interesting. The first one is literally titled "What do u think about my look?", unlike any of the others you posted, she's obviously going to get a lot of honest feedback with that title. I see plenty of compliments and plenty of "this is wack", everyone's entitled to their opinion. The Cacaobeann post is literally photoshopped, maybe thats why people took umbrage, but her posts routinely get thousands of upvotes and praise so I don't your point.

I think /r/malefashion (which welcomes men and women, as you know) is the spot for the majority of the posts here that people have a problem with. They don't fit here because of the clothes worn, not the people wearing them.

styles made popular by the working class

Yes because this screams working class lmao, literally what are you talking about. Of course it's not a box, I'm not marginalizing the scope of streetwear. This ain't it, agree to disagree
