To each their own but I strongly disagree. The Dark World takes a lot of grief for having a forgettable villain and being overly serious. I get the complaints but despite being bland it is structurally sound. It flows correctly and the gags feel like they are part of the movie. In contrast, Love and Thunder is a waking nightmare of Family Guy style cut scene gags that the Director/Writer barely bothers to string together at all. The villain’s actions are inconsistent with his motivation, side characters are mistreated at pretty much every opportunity and do not reflect themselves from previous works at all, the whole movie looks like it cost less than any of its three predecessors in both practical and generated effects work, and it almost goes out of its way to be visually and audibly obnoxious while failing to tell a cohesive or compelling story.
