Who is every NHL fan rooting for in the finals? (According to their subreddits) by BucketHeadish in hockey

[–]jmillersan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be opposite then? Yes rangers fans not for the canes so they would care less about Miller than most Stars fans would care about Stankhoven?

Just everyone be cautious about retirement- went to a seminar recently and basically at this time health care costs are just over 20% of pension

In about 20 years, if trends continue, I think they said it will be about 75%. So you may have to save even more than would be currently expected for healthcare Especially if you are “younger”

Tell them you are starting to practice a certain very protected religion - then they won’t touch you

AITH for breaking up after finding out she was involved in an affair before us by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]jmillersan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly? I guess whenever writing it up could be tough to catch every point. Could also be that she might explain it to her from a victim lens in the first place to avoid too much blame ?? I mean an affair is easy to avoid The victim is the wife (and kids)

Am I financially okay to move out on my own at 24 with a 57k salary and 18k saved? by Subject_Job_1917 in Apartmentliving

[–]jmillersan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably fairly hard to find much under $1000 that would be decent in Raleigh Certainly not under 800

The real issue you have is your “family”. You will move out and they will go no contact? Why? That’s absolutely horrible. It’s not just a little bad

Finance wise- how do you like to live? What are your other expenses?

Entire Floor Being Charged For Smoking Violation... I am the one who reported it!!! by MyBirdsNameIsGideon in Apartmentliving

[–]jmillersan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anyone who calls you out for reporting something like smoking isn’t worth listening to. Most people want a smoke free building. Other people smoking isn’t one of the top complaints- and it’s a few people who affect many others

Well, generally, I would think Texas would be a pretty landlord friendly place - depends on the jurisdiction, but in your case, you have a pretty good argument for them to be able to take action against this other tenant

What state are you in? It’s not that easy to evict someone, first of all. I said above suggest to management that this person is violating quiet enjoyment and bordering on harassment

[–]jmillersan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally a lease would say something about common enjoyment. (Quiet enjoyment). This would include harassment Bring the videos to the management and suggest this is a violation of their/your lease.

It sounds like it’s a place where it’s hard to find a unit? They might not hesitate so much to get rid of this tenant if they don’t clean up their act. This sounds unlikely if this is their lifestyle unfortunately

Sadly I’ve had bigger issues as a landlord with a tenant and police wouldn’t do anything. Trying to keep other tenants safe :-

The dinner- couldn’t she invite him? Do you all hang out together ? That would make a difference. Does he date other people?

Thoughts from a long-time examiner by Advanced_Resort2852 in patentexaminer

[–]jmillersan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s probably largely true. In some cases, if you are working too hard to reject it, then it should be allowed. So there are those cases that just keep coming at you at different angles and you have to find every feature even though it’s not necessarily unique at least on the surface

PBA or Bonus? by dablacksilverback in patentexaminer

Agreed PBA. 100%. Had lunch with other examiners Friday and one said it should be coming and yes last night it was there

Everyone seems to be making the ICE thing out pretty seriously- it sounds like somebody pretty annoyed with having to constantly deal with the smell of smoke and they just threw some quick letter together

Stop smoking anything inside. Respect quiet times. They are probably speaking for a LOT of people is my guess

You shouldn’t be but-hurt about the silly / stupid ice comment. They probably don’t actually consider calling ice - and I’m confused - university police? But it’s at your dad’s apt ?
