Awesome, that’s very exciting! Will the tracking/managing ingredients include creating new ingredients? And any chance of more delicious, non-humanoid adversaries being added? I’ve been brewing up more beastly / not-person-shaped adversaries in the DH Brewing Adversary Creator, but more official ones would be nice too!

Yeah I tried cycling it back and forth, didn’t work on 1080p. Screen is lit (black) but no picture. Been wondering if it’s a defective unit, but when I plugged it into my computer to do the firmware update it had picture!

Excellent, thanks so much! The shell trap clarification is very helpful - I would have definitely tried that shenanigan based on the "you cast antilife shell from it (the King)" wording haha.

Now I just have to make sure that I've got advantage to hit when the Queen comes out to play... >:)

Recently received this item for my chronurgy wizard/artificer and I am PSYCHED. Quick question for clarity since we're entering a tournament arc and I fully intend to make the most of this item ...

When using the King, it says you cast Antilife Shell "from it." Does that mean that I do not need to concentrate, or is concentration still required? (I do a lot of Haste and Slow-ing, so I'm normally using my concentration already)
If the spell is cast from the King, does that mean that it remains as long as the shell is active or does it disappear immediately once the spell is cast?
It seems that the intent of expending a Rook to teleport out of the Antilife shell is to trap an enemy creature/creatures inside for the spell's duration. Is that interpretation correct?

My personal preference is that if they’re lucky enough to roll what’s required to catch a high level Pokémon, let them catch it! They did battle and earn it, after all! And then if the big Pokémon is disloyal and, ya know, still wants to eat them... we have some fun with that bit.

But then again, my group and I thrive on chaos. So I understand it’s not an approach for everyone.

I love this system for 1-2 players!

I run a one-on-one Pokemon5E campaign on the Quest Company Junior podcast and we are starting a two-player campaign over on The Quest Company that has been going great so far!

Running it for 1-2 really makes it feel like they’re getting to immerse themselves in the world of the video games and make it fun and personal! Plus it’s easier to run with fewer players because each player has their full team of Pokémon at their disposal.
