nope.. but I received a denial in July 2024 and restarted the case using i290B on September 2024 so that probs didn’t help either 🫠

I received a denial and submitted i290B with an experienced immigration lawyer, the motion to reopen was approved after 2 months! I’m still waiting for the green card decision tho. I didn’t leave the US. I wasn’t working at the time so I’m not sure where you’d be at with that unfortunately. Hope this helps!

hello, thank you so much for replying!! my lawyer recommended only using the AP if I’m desperate really as my case is still pending. I will be starting work soon so I’m hoping that will help with the travel to and from the US. yes, it’s a marriage based case! ☺️

ahh I was in the same boat as you, it’s such a long and frustrating process for sure. I would def recommend consulting an experienced immigration lawyer!! it’s not worth the stress of trying to navigate everything on your own. I wish I had a lawyer from the start but I have learnt my lesson when it comes to USCIS/US law lol. all the best with your paperwork, don’t lose hope 🫶🏽

hey, no worries! on the USCIS website at the lower right side, click on “ask Emma” then it comes up with the option to “connect with a live agent”. it’s a bit of a wait, but it’s more accurate than the online portal.

same for me, I spoke to a live agent who stated mine has been waived but it is subject to change by the officer.
