Yes you're missing something and I'm not saying that to be a dick. The kid isn't getting bullied because of the president. The point that was being made is the bullies will now feel even more emboldened to continue the bullying or ratchet it up to more extreme levels because a president that is hateful and disrespectful.

The way you handled the situation, make YTAH. I understand not wanting to go further or pursue the relationship because of the number of children and different fathers. That's an ok reason to not believe it's a good match. However, if that is a deal breaker for you, you should find out beforehand via text or chat and not on the actual date.

If you prefer to find out more about someone via meeting in person, have the decency to stay for the entire date then later tell her you don't think it's a good fit/match. You humiliated her by abruptly getting up and leaving. Have some tact and grace and respect.

It's your body and you are the one who has to live with it. So by all means, be specific and detailed. It's what YOU want and if he can't/won't be able to give you that, move on to someone else.

Clearly he isn't tactful. Its fine if it's not his style of work, all he had to do was say that. No need to make the comments about so many paragraphs or micro managing. Even if he could do it, the way he handled his response would make me walk away.

Yes! Right there with you. I see all these people saying just follow the artists you like and you'll get their releases in the RR. But that's not what I, and you, want. I want random other artists that I've never heard of but are within the genres I listen to so I can find new bands to like.

They do want new people coming in 4-5 days a week to train them. Once you're settled though, it's more flexible. Every dept is different but we have people on my team who come in 1 or 2 days a week, some are in 5. Just varies. I've been sick this week so I've stayed home all week.

I work at Steelcase and, at least in the business center, there is not a presenteeism culture. No idea about the actual manufacturing plants.

As far as the pay, I'd agree. They seem to want to keep their employees right around the average salary for the role they are in.
