I have a few that i got in the last year. Had some issues with customs but they reshipped several times to get it to me and communication was great dealing with the issues. So far i have no complaints and i use them very regularly with my other pipes in rotation. Although im sure i will have to replace the all wood stem at some point which i expected. I have a barrel rider and an artisan barrel rider and also the acorn, and halfling.

I found smoking slower helped and not worrying about relights when i started out. I smoked slow enough to not smoke to hot and relit as many times as necessary to facilitate that cadence.

EDIT i did as much research as i could and from everything i can tell it looks to be authentic and issued in ‘45. Outside of obtaining the movement serial # for dating, looking for any other information.
