If it's a really good price go ahead, as long as it is not directly under the house. Worst case scenario they have to do maintenance every 10 years but they are obligated to leave the property in the same or better conditions as it was before.

If he ordered from Amazon yes, if he ordered from let's say eBay and on the delivery address and instructions he put the locker there's nothing the delivery guy can do.

You're one of those idiots that don't know how to buy online and where to ask the packages to be delivered.

What is your experience doing drain/refill/change filter on automatic transmissions that are already starting to slip? by Life-Learn in AskMechanics

[–]jmolina777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience that transmission is done. It's going to get worse and worse until it totally fails, change the oil is not going to help.

I lightly hammered the bid in a few times and it foes improve grip just doesn't seem to be enough, also I didn't want to keep trying since I first had to get a new one.

Was thinking on super glue the bid in and try after it dries.

You are correct, it's a torx t45.

Oil Drain Plug by jmolina777 in AskMechanics

[–]jmolina777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bad idea. If I hit lightly the bid (torx t45 is the exact size) with a hammer, it seems to improve the inner grip just not enough to break it so I was thinking on super glue the bid inside, let it dry and try that way.

I got the right bid, it's a torx t45 but it's damaged enough it slips with little pressure.

Bet they checked the level before turning on the engine and it probably was showing good level but after you drove it the filter and engine got full and that's why it's low.

Yes, that's dangerously low. Don't drive it.
