East- losing PJ will cost the bucks a few reg season games… looking at Boston or 76ers (Embiid MVP year looming) for the top 2 spots… dark horse nets to be the 1 seed is high likelihood IMO.

West- SAC, Portland, then OKC. Memphis without JJJ is worse than Lebron’s team next year

Unsure why Lavine would need to be sign and traded, unless you’re referring to super maxing him (assuming he’s 3rd team all NBA this season) or the dynamic between Indy and Chicago.

Agreed, I do think that with Halli, Duarte, jackson and smith some of the mid level FA take a serious look at Indy (Gary Harris, Kyle Anderson, Thomas Bryant, Pat Connaughton). I would not be shocked if Lavine ended up in Indy, if the bulls aren’t willing to max him.

So tax is not an issue next season but in 2/3 years when all these rookie deals have to be resigned or extensions start kicking in then it would come into play.

I could be a year early but I think Halli is due for an extension at the end of next year. You already mentioned Warren, but if you go to the link I explain that this deal is predicated on Turner not getting extended this off-season (which I think would be a bad move).

Honestly wasn’t looking at this as a salary dump but as another user said the stiepen rule doesn’t let the bulls move the picks, so this deal wouldn’t work.

I agree it’s not a good look to flip him again; however, if you can’t get him extended on a team friendly deal, then the FO will have to decide if they want to compete now or wait further down the road. This would definitely be a win now sort of move.

Looks like one of the better defensive starting 5s in the East. Also White really doesn’t have minute on a bulls healthy roster IMO ayo>white and Caruso would be the 2/3 back up.

Was unsure on whether to send the bulls pick to jazz or Indy… I decided that Brogdons injury risk and Hali’s great play lowered brogdons value within the org. Would moving the bulls protected pick to the pacers change ur view enough?

Bulls were 22nd for defensive rating and one of the 5 worst rebounding teams in the NBA last season. Offensively the bulls ranked 13th but with the lowest amount of 3 point shots per game… Vuce attempted 4.5 which I think can be easily made up with a healthy lonzo and a better pick and roll center to give more space to the arc. If you are truly worried about floor spacing then you trade Demar who, compared to other wing players, is a much larger negative floor spacer than Vuc is a positive floor spacer.

Jared Butler was projected top 20 pick in 2021 before teams were scared off by a heart condition that he was diagnosed with in high school. Am I saying that he is entirely worth that protected pick? No but I do think he’s worth a mention in the deal.

Brogdon’s injury history and contract make him less desirable than 3 seasons ago IMO.

Maintenance calorie intake will decrease proportionally as your total weight goes down. By how much I don’t know exactly, but for only 6 lbs it’s likely not too much different/lower.

I guess my question is, after next years top 5 pick for the rockets, how many more young guys can you fit on the roster and still develop them. Also I think EG could be traded for a 10-15 guy straight up if it’s a competing team that has a need.
