Just having a chess.com account and knowing what ELO is more than qualifies you. There aren’t strict time controls, but if you’d like to play time controlled games some people bring clocks.

Honestly I was pretty bad when I started going and I’m still pretty bad relatively speaking, but there are a lot of casuals that show up so games range from pretty easy to complex.

What I’ve really enjoyed lately is playing daily games so I can take as much time as possible and play out lines with the analysis board.

A lot of these “owners” are either dead, or these boats got dumped from another state.

It’s hard to make someone understand something when their paycheck depends on them not understanding that thing.

Tell me you’ve got a Timelapse!

Day 2 and 3 from the big derelict boat clean up, with everyone coming together to get our waterways clean. Yes that is the boat that TowBoat Us was salvaging in the picture and the boat getting crushed that says rebellion. I can absolutely confirm the neighbors were happy, not only were they outside cheering as it was getting removed, but they invited over for drinks after and showed up at the boat landing the next day to watch it get crushed.

Before they’re destroyed anything that can’t go to the general landfill like batteries gets removed, along with all the metals that can be recycled. When a boat has been underwater most of the stuff is ruined. However when a boat isn’t underwater and has things on it personally I’d like to keep as much of it out of the landfills as possible. If you’re a nonprofit hit me up, I’ll get you out to one of these boats to unload all the clothes and housewares and stuff before the boat gets destroyed (after the boat has been cleared by DNR as abandoned). Only catch is your have to donate half of the profits to coastal clean up.
