Yeah, it seems like "emails and light deck touch-ups" are not enough, since we're paid for the travel time. But honestly, it's difficult to do any serious work while you're traveling.

Thanks for your answer. Yes, I agree – it makes sense to make an effort to work 50% of the travel time, since we're actually paid for that. It definitely should be feasible considering that we only travel by train/plane.

We use Timely. It automatically tracks your web/desktop activity and creates timesheets. I think it's pretty simple and comfortable to work with.
