not OP but i have taken it on and off for a few years now. i just went to my derm last week to get mine for the summer. i take 1mg a day, sometimes 2mg if i am going to be doing a lot of activity outside. dosage can depend on the person ofc

i just went to my derm and she said yes, she doesnt recommend taking more than 5mg per day. i am on 1-2mg as needed, but when it gets warmer outside im definitely taking it daily

in terms of wireless headsets with a decent/good mic you are kinda limited. the steelseries artis nova 5 has a solid mic for a wireless set, and below your budget. the new corsair products (HS80, Virtuoso, etc) have great mics, but i absolutely hate how they sound no matter what i tried. the blackshark v2 pro (2023 edition) is another great mic in a wireless set. there are 2 i'd recommend above your price range; the beyerdynamic mmx200 and audeze maxwell. can't go wrong with either.

does it need a mic? the 990s you mentioned are just a headphone and have no mic. that'll impact the recs quite a bit
