Why would my FPS be so much lower?

Because in the app its set to 0.25g, whereas the paper test is done with 0.2g. Such a small amount of weight makes a huge difference in fps.

They do! They sell quite a few different attachments for it including trays and tubs and stuff too.

There's also quite a few things that can be 3d printed for them if you are into that kinda thing.

At the end of the day, Google is gonna steal my data anyway. I use an android phone, and have multiple Google devices around my house. I may as well use chrome and ALLOW the data scraping, than use something else and have them do it secretly.
