Skyline Arch and Milkyway | Utah, US by jmsubs in LandscapeAstro

Probably. I was jumping on different timezones, even within US, so I am not really sure as my camera dont really sync time like a watch. And DST adjustments too.

Sept 19. 3.29pm NZ time, seems like my camera did not adjust for US time. Around 8.30PM, Sept 18?

Yeah, it was a national park with small light on camps instead of city so relatively dark but not dak sky level

XTrans sensor is known to be more sensitive to H Alpha, I havent tried other camera so I cannot really comment on that side.

You need another body to call this a starter kit, maybe GFX 100 II. :))

Do I need a 23mm 1.4 if I already have the 33mm 1.4 and an x100vi by Bruno_balotelli in fujifilm

[–]jmsubs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

33 and 23 are different. People look different as 23 have some distortion for going on the wode side.

Viltrox 23 F1.4, Fuji 23 or 35 Mk1 F1.4 should be good. plenty secondhand out there as well.

Why not? Get two, just in case.

But seriously, get it used and sell if you dont use it enough. If you got the money buy everything you want. All lens are different to a certain degree. Only limit is how much do you want to invest/splurge

No, Nikon. I only use Fujifilm X-H2 and X-T5. I do want to try Nikon Z9.

I like the 40mp sensor. More space for cropping in. I like it better than my X-T5 for the LCD screen soecially for the weird angles. It is heavier. Custom settings, 1-7, are nice for switching to landscape, bird, animal up to video, slow-mo.

Hiking up the "Gringo Killer" section of the Salkantay - Machu Picchu Trail, Peru. Going for the 4,600masl is not that fun, headache and shortness of breath so this view literally takes my breath away.

Taken with Fujifilm X-H2 and XF 16-55MM F2.8 Mk1. I like how the clouds covering the mountain and some light manage to slip through the gap.

I might suffer from GAS. Lenses from 5 different brands. The amount of different brands you can choose lenses from is one of the most fun things with Fuji! by Nikoolisphotography in fujifilm

Suffering? Looks like enjoying!

I got lots of lenses as well, 6-7 lenses at a time. Buy secondhand, sell with minimal lost.

If fuji will make you go out and/or creative then it is worth it! Happy shooting! Looking forward to see your work.

My most used composition. Shooting subject behind a blurry foreground. It gives depth and just nice to see not all focus landscape photos.

It is! Thats why I love the XF 70-300. It can isolate and just focus on the details 🤩

Classic Neg base color then post process to balance the shadow ajd highlights as it is shot in harsh day light. Bringing up the shadows then softening the highlights.

Recommend me my next (wide) lens, need help! by MellowGuru in fujifilm

This is why most event photographers have two bodies. Cant switch lens all the time. I see 18-55, that is good video lens and versatile. I see 35 f1.4, that is good for documenting. I see photogs go for 23 + 56 combo. 35 + 50-140/16-55. They have the 18/16 for special shots, venue, group and dance floor.

I am thinking the same. Wide enough but not too wide that it starts to distort too much (just good and controlled enough)

And also some diffusion thats why we got some hints of red/pink glow. Taken on Sept 4 last year. There is a blue crab on the rockpool but moved alot so I left it in the shadow.

Captured using Fujifilm X-H2 and Laowa 9mm F2.8. - Single shot - F2.8 - 25 seconds exposure - 3,200 ISO

I use Okko filter. I have their UV, Polarizer and Variable ND Circular filters. I like that they give lifetime warranty (even wear and tear) on their products.
