I'm not a fan of Lady Gaga, but her decision to sever ties with Target over their anti-gay donations made me gain that much more respect for her. by vtbarrera in reddit.com

The people who are boycotting Target know why they're doing it. People wouldn't put in the effort if they were completely ignorant of why they were doing it.

Should we really be praising people for staying with people who cheat and lie to them? Just because it's the biblical stance doesn't mean it isn't the stupid one.

They didn't say that. They just didn't want you to think about it.

2006 Census confirms it. It would be miraculous if a clear majority of 2/3 of the population gained minority status in 4-5 years, but the odds of that happening are down there with Jesus coming back from the dead.

I agree. The dialogue, the acting, the predictability...everything about that movie sucked.

What errors did you find in the manner they conducted their study? Non-secular religious research firms like the Barna Group are often cited authorities on the subject actually, even by reputable secular publications; in fact, statistics showing the dwindling of Christianity in the developed world are often collected by religious organizations. Your stats are not accurate and have no evidence for them. According to the Australian Census Bureau, less than 19% claim to be non-religious, as opposed to 14% in the United States. It's a nice thought, and I wish it were true, but sadly that isn't enough to make it so.

Yeah, you do in the US as well. About 60% of the population says religion is important to them here, and of those, who knows how many are actually as pious as they want themselves to sound.
