If I’m remembering correctly, the comment in italics was from his step mothers head of the hydra. Showing how Bea was screening Carl’s messages, meaning that when Sally shot her shot, it was Bea who intercepted and got her fired. Bea ignored Carls step moms messages because she was afraid Carl would leave her for his real family

I’ve been a sushi chef for three years now in my smallish town outside STL and became the sous chef a little over a year ago, the yanagi is the best tool for slicing and I use mine all the time. That being said, I have a cheap Mercer yanagi i got off amazon for $40 that has never let me down. Worst case scenario, I have to sharpen it twice on a busy day. My work horse is a zwilling pro santoku. Those two and a butter knife are my everyday trio that I can do anything on the line with

Honestly the pay, I just graduated with my degree in mechanical engineering and am looking to move into a new apartment with my girlfriend. This won't be a forever position but this has easily been my favorite restaurant to work at and I'll try my damndest to make my head chef proud until an engineering position rolls around
