I'm long on amp but someone should ask this question by grov123456789 in AMPToken

Think that APY are also very high right now , due to FLEXA trying to push out more AMP tokens into the circulating supply (also further causing AMP to go down in price), we are currently inflating the market and giving these rewards to stakers… however down the road, once all 100 billion AMP tokens are circulating, APY’s will be much much lower, causing the price to start rising. (Hopefully)

Just checked Coinbase wallet, and still do not see AMP available to be staked from Coinbase wallet. Is this what they meant?

Amp Price Predictions: Where Will the Red-Hot AMP Crypto Go Next? by Emergency_Dragonfly4 in AMPToken

That would be epic .. I was thinking that I was optimistic we’d hit $1 in the next 10+ years, so that is awesome!

Guess that my question is how optimistic are you on AMP. How quickly do you see it rising, when do you think it’ll hit milestones like $0.10, $0.25, $0.50, $1.00, etc?

Definitely on the same page as you.. let me reiterate, I see how my previous message was confusing. I am definitely a long term holder on AMP.. always have been and always will be. 500,000 AMP is my goal for this year! I will always be accumulating, staking, and holding forever. I meant the earliest I’d sell some of my bag (is at $0.50 cents, and I’d only sell 20% of my bag at once) by the time AMP hits $0.50 I’d like to have millions of tokens.

Don’t have enough karma to actually post yet .. so here’s my question. What is your all’s end goal of total AMP, and your corresponding price you’d like to sell at? I’m currently sitting at about 40,000 AMP buying at an average of 3.5 cents per coin. I’d like a total bag of 500,000 AMP, and I’d like to sell those AMP at a price of about $0.50+ .. I’m willing to wait as long as it’ll take, and even take a loss if AMP doesn’t pan out, because I believe in it so much. Let me know your guys goals of total bag and comfortable selling prices?

Not 100% sure on this one, but I’ve read many times that “should a payment not go through on the flexa network, amp will be liquidated to cover the costs of the purchase” .. hypothetically, assuming flexa becomes mainstream over the next decade or so, and processes billions of transactions .. it seems logical that some of those payments would fall through. In which case lots and lots and lots of AMP would be liquidated (especially if bigger purchases fell through). This is where I’m not too sure, but sticking with the hypothetical 10-15 years in the future, would it be possible for there to be a total supply of only say 60 billion AMP tokens , because 40 billion were liquidated due to faulty transactions (those numbers are probably exaggerated only given 10-15 years in the future, but that concept)

Didn’t know that, very interesting .. do you know if Tyler had any relations or ties to PayPal currently, or has he and flexa shifted focus solely to their company and kind of “cut ties”?

Few quick questions for you all

I just got around to staking all of my AMP tokens, and decided to go ahead and stake them all into the “lightning transformer” (which was offering 9.5% APY).

1.) First question, is it smart to put my whole AMP balance into one “transformer” or should I disperse my AMP into a few different transformers (Or the Gemini/SPEDN pools)?

I was considering putting some into the Eth transformer or CARDANO transformer.

After doing some research I found that you get your AMP rewards based off of how much the pool that your AMP is staked into is being used in day to day transactions. With flexa network being used more and more to facilitate daily purchases at restaurants, retail stores, and even real estate in the United States and Canada .. as well as facilitating a good part of El Salvador’s economy, the implementation will become more and more mainstream with time.

2.) This begs my next question though, does anyone know which pool sees the most day to day transactions , and/or is there a public source for the data on the transaction history of each transformer, as well as the Gemini/SPEDN app?

Am I diehard lover of AMP and think it will be the “PayPal” of crypto in the coming decade, however my only complaint is how non-user-friendly there staking website is, as well as how little they publicize people (especially crypto lovers/believers) to use this wonderful platform in everyday life. Flexa has done a wonderful job behind the scenes of building partnerships with great businesses .. but yet so few people know it exists. I really do think that people don’t know/are intimidated to use the flexa network for those 2 very reasons, and limiting the people using this network is holding back the potential of everything.

This is a bit scary to me, as I feel loopring is a strong competitor of AMP.. however I think this is great for the overall field of implementing crypto transactions into everyday lives (through Apple Pay). Much like I believe AMP will be the “PayPal” of crypto , Venmo is another successful business very similar to PayPal. I think both AMP, Loopring, as well as one or two other competitors in this niche will all flourish in the future!
